Amongst terraced apple groves in the village of Mejdel el Aqoura are the vacation homes of two sisters. Positioned at an angle, in close proximity to the existing family home, the two structures form a shaded courtyard that opens up to the scenic mountains of Lebanon, making the space ideal for familial gatherings.

Built using local stone and following the nature of the terrain, the interiors are marked by large steps for mitigating the consequential slope. Overflowing with lush greenery, the stepping flat roofs of the duo blocks naturally blend in with the environment.
