Kun is a contemporary Lebanese restaurant in downtown Beirut, designed to interpret local culinary culture through spatial and material choices.
The interior is organized as a sequence of connected volumes, where dining areas alternate between more open communal spaces and tucked-away corners for private moments. Materiality is restrained yet tactile, with natural surfaces, muted tones, and custom furnishings that articulate both structure and atmosphere. Carefully framed openings and sightlines establish a dialogue between the restaurant and its urban context, while detailing emphasizes craftsmanship and the sensory qualities of the space.
The design translates Kun’s identity into an architectural experience that is understated, welcoming, and rooted in a sense of place, allowing guests to engage with both the environment and the culinary program.
